Death of past pupil, Dr. Terry Hynes

The death has occurred of Dr. Terry Hynes. He was a past pupil of the Sacred Heart College, The Crescent, during the late 1940s and early 1950s. May he rest in peace. RIP  

Death of past pupil, Kevin Uniacke

The death has occurred of Kevin Uniacke, who was a past pupil of SHC, The Crescent. Kevin played on the Junior Team that won the Munster Rugby Cup in 1961 and the Senior Team that won the Munster Rugby Cup in 1963. May he rest in peace. RIP

Death of past pupil, Dr. Gerry Liddy

The death has occurred of Dr. Gerry Liddy (RIP), in Wexford. Gerry attended Sacred Heart College, The Crescent from 1950 to 1961. He was scrum half on the SHC team who won the Bowen Shield in 1959, the centenary of the college. May he rest in peace.

Death of Fr. Paddy Crowe S.J.

The death has occurred  of Fr. Paddy Crowe, S.J.. Fr. Crowe served as a Scholastic in the Sacred Heart College, The Crescent, in the early 1950s and during the 1960s. He was also Prefect of Studies. He was highly respected by all. R.I.P.
