Death of past pupil, Mr Francis (Danno) Heaslip

The death has occurred on 4th February of Danno Heaslip who with his brother, Michael, attended Crescent College 1954-55.  The family then moved to Galway where Danno became a well-known auctioneer and businessman. Death of past pupil, Mr Karl Finucane

The death has occurred Karl Finucane(RIP) on 3rd Feb 2021. He was in the Crescent from 1946 thru 1952,and was on the team that won the Senior Schools Cup in 1951.  The Captain was Noel Harris and the Vice-Captain was Monsignor Tom Stack. Death of former staff, Fr. Connla Delany SJ

Fr. Connla Delany S.J. (Connla Ó Dúláine) died on the 10th January in Cherryfield Lodge Nursing Home, Milltown Park, Dublin. Born in Dublin in 1930, he was educated at Belvedere College and entered the Jesuits in 1948.  He taught Irish and French at Crescent from 1956 to 1959 and was well remembered for producing a number of plays in Irish …

Christmas Present for Golf Challenge Cup winner 2020

The death occurred on Sunday of Monsignor Tom Stack (Class of 1951). He was ordained for the Dublin Archdiocese in 1958. He was a well known figure nationally over many years for his regular contributions to radio, television and print media.
