Table Quiz raises funds for local charities

The recent Table Quiz held in Collins Bar in Dooradoyle was a great success.  Between the entry fees, a raffle and prize money donated by the winning tables over €1300 was raised on the night.

There was some excellent quizzing and some high scores in spite of the tricky questions.  A three way tie at the end of the evening resulted in a sudden death question which challenged the three teams and saw one table come out on top.

The following two charities were nominated and received cheques on behalf of the Crescent Past Pupils – Peter McVerry Trust and Limerick Marine Search & Rescue Service
