Learning to drive is an important milestone. Here you’ll find links to official road safety information, learner driver rules, theory test preparation and guidance on safe driving. These resources are provided by recognised authorities and organisations focused on road safety.
Find official information on learner permits, eligibility, documents required and fees, and read the full Rules of the Road for Ireland, including signs, speed limits and safe driving guidance.

Wellbeing and support
Everyone can face personal, health or study related challenges at different times. This section links to recognised services and information providers that offer advice on mental health, general wellbeing and getting support when you need it. These resources are independent of Crescent but are widely used and recommended in Ireland.
General mental health information
YourMentalHealth.ie is the HSE’s national information portal on mental health, with clear explanations of common issues, advice on looking after yourself, and details of services and supports available around Ireland.
Support for young people
Jigsaw offers information, online support and local services for young people aged 12–25. Their website includes practical articles on managing stress, anxiety and school or college pressures, as well as guidance for parents and teachers.

Samaritans provide a free, confidential listening service for anyone who is struggling, day or night. You don’t have to be in crisis to get in touch – you can call or email if something is worrying you and you need to talk.
