Represents Ireland at Home Internationals

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news from the squash courts, as Crescent Past Pupil Dermot McNamara (Class of 2003) recently represented Ireland at the Home Internationals in Galway in the Over 40s category.

Dermot was part of the Irish Senior Squash Team that competed against strong opposition from across the UK. Over the course of the weekend, Ireland delivered an impressive performance, securing victories against both Scotland and Wales.

The team narrowly missed out on the top spot after a tough contest with England, ultimately finishing in second place and bringing home Silver Medals.

This is a brilliant achievement and a testament to Dermot’s continued dedication to the sport at a high level.

Congratulations to Dermot and the entire Irish team on a superb performance. It’s always great to see Crescent past pupils excelling on the national stage.
