Congratulations to Dermot Mac Namara CCC SJ, (1997-2003) who recently won the Munster Seniors Squash (over 40’s) tournament. Dermot also represented Ireland in the senior home internationals in Cardiff where the team beat Scotland and Wales and finished second in the overall tournament. The death has occurred of Henry Murdoch (OC 1954), barrister and writer. He was the author of the Dictionary of Irish Law. His most recent book published in 2022 was Apartment Living in Ireland. He had been Chairman of the Board of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, and was for many years Assistant Director of AnCo, the Industrial Training Authority.
