In Memory of Eddie Frost
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of fellow past pupil Eddie Frost (SHC, The Crescent, 1947–1954), of Newtown, Castletroy, Limerick, who died unexpectedly in Spain on 13th October 2026.
Eddie, formerly of Frost Insurances, was the beloved husband of the late Olive and dearly loved father of Deirdre, Tara and Ted. He was a cherished grandfather to Ben, Neil, Liam, Jasmine, Harry, Lauryn, Ted Junior and Isabelle.
He will be sadly missed by his loving sister Monica (Sister Christine Frost FCJ), sons-in-law Mark and Garry, daughter-in-law Trish, extended family, friends and all who knew him.
Funeral Arrangements
Eddie will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Limerick, on Friday, 30th October, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
His funeral will arrive at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen, on Saturday, 31st October, for Requiem Mass at 10.00am, followed by burial in Kilmurry Cemetery.
The Requiem Mass will be livestreamed via Church Services TV – Monaleen.
The Crescent College Past Pupils’ Union extends its sincere condolences to Eddie’s family, friends and fellow past pupils at this sad time.
