We have been informed of the death on 27th March 2021 of past pupil Pat O’Malley. He was in the leaving cert class of 1961 and attended Crescent along with his brothers Don & Michael. He played for Crescent rugby team for Junior Cup in 1957/8 and Senior Cup 1960/1.
He graduated in engineering from UCD and had his own civil engineering business in Dublin. He was the Progressive Democrat TD for Dublin West from February 1987 to June 1989.
