The sun shone and the course was in excellent condition in Adare for the CPPU Inaugural Golf Outing last Friday 14th September 2012. Tee-off started at 13:00 and sun cream & shorts were the order of the day for the prescient golfers including the eventual winner Bobby Roche who tamed this challenging course with a truly impressive score.
There was a great attendance with over 40 players competing for the Ignatian Sodality Challenge Cup including previous winner Tim O’Malley who once again figured in the top 3 positions quite a few years after his earlier win.
The Crescent Past Pupils Union wish to thank all those who attended and look forward to this Golf Outing becoming a successful annual event in the coming years.
