The death has occurred of past pupil Dr. Derbhile de Paor from class of 1981.
Dr. Derbhile de Paor (ní Bhroin), Ballykeeffe, Limerick and formerly of Corbally. Late Principal of Castleconnell National School and Educator of Teachers at the University of Limerick. Former Musical Director of the Boherbuoy Brass and Reed Band and the Cecilian Musical Society.
May 7th 2026 in the loving care and friendship of the staff at the Curam Ward, Milford Care Home.
Beloved wife of Gerard. Dearly loved mother of Doireann, Caoimhe and Clíodhna. Sadly missed by her siblings Colman, Connor and Johanna, son-in-law James, Doireann’s partner Matthew, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Dairine and Claude Byrne.
Reposing at Milford Care Centre on Sunday (10th May) from 5pm to 6.30pm. A celebration of Derbhile’s life will take place in Shannon Crematorium on Monday (11th May) at 12pm.
