Membership

Membership of Crescent College Past Pupils Union is open to all past pupils, teachers and staff of Sacred Heart College and Crescent College Comprehensive. It is a simple way to stay part of the Crescent story, wherever you are in the world.

By becoming a member you will receive occasional updates about news, events and projects, and you will be kept in touch with opportunities to support current students through careers, mentoring and other initiatives. Membership is free, and every registration helps the Union to plan activities and services that reflect the needs of our past pupil community.

By joining, you can:

  • Show your support for Crescent College and its ongoing work
    Membership is a visible sign that you value the education and experiences you received at Crescent and want to see that tradition continue.
  • Keep up to date with news, events and school developments
    Receive occasional updates about reunions, the Annual Dinner, golf outings, campus projects and other Union and school news.
  • Reconnect with classmates and staff and build new professional and social connections
    Stay in touch with your own year group and meet past pupils from other decades through Union events and networks.
  • Share memories and photos and contribute to the life of the Crescent community
    Help build the living history of Crescent by sharing stories, images and achievements from your time in the school and beyond.
  • Help support current pupils through careers support, placements and voluntary initiatives
    Offer advice, work experience or mentoring to students and recent graduates when you are in a position to do so.

What your membership helps to support

Membership also helps the Union to maintain and develop key initiatives, including:

  • The Crescent Union Solidarity Programme (CUSP), which offers confidential support to past pupils and former staff at times of personal, health or career difficulty
  • Student support projects such as careers talks, work experience and international placements
  • A calendar of events and reunions that brings the Crescent community together
  • The digital archives of photos, publications, alumni achievements and “Crescent in Print”
