This book is a celebration of one hundred and fifty years of Jesuit education in Limerick city. It is a collection of snapshots and portraits, memoirs and reflections of Crescent College past and present. All of the contributors are either past pupils, or current or past teachers of the school. One of the ideas of Jesuit eduction is to help students grow into men and women of competence, conscience and compassion. The book attempts to give a flavour of how these ideas have been pursued over the past one hundred and fifty years in Limerick.
