The death has occurred of Father Dermot McKenna S.J., who as a Jesuit scholastic taught in Crescent College in 1955-56.
Dermot passed away on 21 January, aged 90. He was heavily involved in technical education, especially in Bolton Street College of Technology where he set up the Bolton Trust to help fund and support the cooperative movement in Ireland, his great passion in life.
