We regret to announce the death of Paul Carroll, Leaving Certificate Class of 1970.
Paul had a deep interest in sport, particularly rugby.
After a diagnosis of Motor Neuron Disease, he launched himself into fundraising for MND research. An impressive sum to aid research was collected, and, was presented to IMNDA shortly before he died.
Paul was the youngest of six brothers. Two of whom were already in boarding School (Clongowes) when the family moved to Limerick. The younger four attended The Crescent. An older brother, Peter, is a Jesuit and a former superior of the mission in Zambia.
