The death has occurred of John OMalley, class of 1960. He died peacefully on 12th April in St Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin.
John and his brothers attended The Crescent in Limerick in the 1950s and 60s. He played on the Junior Cup Team (1958) and Senior Cup Team (1960) with Crescent and was a great supporter of Old Crescent over many years.
After graduating from UCD he worked with Dun and Bradstreet and subsequently with Iarnród Éireann. He was also a writer and poet.
