The death has occurred of John de Courcy. He attended Sacred Heart College, The Crescent from 1938 to 1948.
A barrister by profession, his career was as an Executive Director of Irish Pensions Trust. He was a prominent tennis player and a member of the Crescent College team which won the Munster Schools Senior Tennis Cup in 1948.
