The death has occurred on 4th February of Danno Heaslip who with his brother, Michael, attended Crescent College 1954-55. The family then moved to Galway where Danno became a well-known auctioneer and businessman.
He was also prominent in sporting circles as both Captain and President of Galwegians Rugby Club and as the owner of “For Auction” the winner of the 1982 Champion Hurdle.
