Once again the weather was kind, the sun shone, the wind was fair and the course in Limerick Golf Club was in excellent condition.
The turnout of past pupils, crescent staff and some friend of crescent was excellent and a great day was enjoyed by all who participated.
All players finished in daylight (just about) and the scorecards came in with some excellent scores and the winner Peter Maloney (39 points) was in one of the last groups leading to a thrilling one point win over Fr. Joe Hayes.
Amongst the top scores were last years winner Dan OConnell who was just a couple of points adrift and the father/daughter golfing pair of Tim & Deirdre OMalley who performed well to both finish on the leaderboard.
Once again we’d like to thank all those who made the event possible.
- Limerick Golf Club, clubhouse staff and catering
- The Golf Committee and members of the Past Pupils Union who manned the desks on the day
- Our sponsors who donated prizes and funds – without you this event would not be possible
