This year Crescent senior hockey team have enjoyed a wealth of success, however this success is not limited to just the senior A team. Both our senior B and C teams have enjoyed great cup and league campaigns with our C team doing the double-double retaining the cup and league title they also won win 2019 (the last year it was played). This is even more impressive when you consider that Crescent became the only C team to win this accolade with the majority of teams entering this competition entering the A or B teams. Our senior B’s were very unfortunate to have a one goal loss to the eventual cup winners and came second in the league to the same Villiers side. At A level we were fortunate to win the cup and league also as well as finishing third in the all Ireland’s. It is the ambition of the coaches here in crescent to provide the same level of training and opportunities to our A, B and C players and success across all levels is something we really strive towards. This would not be possible if it wasn’t for the support we receive from management especially chair of the board Helen O’Donnell as well as our principal Diarmuid and deputy principals Sinead and Hugh.
